A former Minister of State for Transport, Sir (Prince) Ademola Adegoroye, has announced plans for the official inauguration of the Ondo State chapter of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), a political platform mobilizing support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu beyond 2027.

Speaking after a strategic meeting of the group in Akure, Adegoroye said Ondo State would take the lead in showcasing President Tinubu’s achievements, given the President’s commitment to the state’s growth and development. He explained that the TSG would serve as a rallying point for all Pro-Tinubu organizations, focusing on grassroots mobilization to consolidate national transformation efforts.

“The Tinubu Support Group is designed to deepen public understanding of the ongoing reforms aimed at restoring Nigeria’s economy and social well-being. Every patriotic Nigerian should join this movement to secure a better future for our country,” Adegoroye stated.

He revealed that the group has nominated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as its Grand Patron, describing the governor as a passionate supporter of President Tinubu’s leadership and vision. “The meeting took far-reaching decisions, including selecting the date for our inauguration and nominating His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as Grand Patron. His passion for Tinubu’s success is overwhelming, and we believe his guidance will greatly strengthen our mission,” he added.

Adegoroye praised the people of Ondo State for their political awareness and historical role in national democratic movements, noting that the state remains a beacon of progressive politics in Nigeria. He also commended the governor’s “methodical approach to governance” and reaffirmed confidence in his leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former minister concluded by thanking Ondo citizens for their continued support for President Tinubu, urging them to remain steadfast and united as preparations intensify toward the 2027 presidential election.
