The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has unveiled the latest edition of its flagship weekly publication, The Explainer, spotlighting the federal government’s bold economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

With the cover headline, “Mining Sector Rebounds, Leads Economic Recovery”, the publication examines the landmark appointment of Mr. Dele Alake as Minister of the newly created Ministry of Solid Minerals Development and how his leadership is driving a turnaround in the mining industry.

According to the report, Mr. Alake hit the ground running with a seven-point agenda aimed at reforming and repositioning the sector. Within a year, key milestones have been recorded, including the clampdown on illegal mining, deployment of satellite surveillance with the support of Mining Marshals, renewal of dormant mining licenses, and payment of annual service fees, among others.

The Explainer also features the NOA’s ongoing campaign on national values reorientation. The Director-General, Mallam Issa-Onilu, urged members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) to take the lead in promoting national identity and values, which he described as essential to rebuilding trust and unity across the country.

As part of its mandate to bridge the information gap and promote civic awareness, the NOA encouraged Nigerians to engage with CLHEEAN, its AI-powered Voice/Chat Assistant, available at http://www.noa.gov.ng The platform provides real-time updates and direct interaction on government policies and programmes.

With its timely insights, The Explainer continues to serve as a vital window into the heart of government, keeping citizens informed and empowered under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
