VICTOR OSIMHEN JOINS GALATASARAY ON RECORD €75M DEAL, SIGNS FOUR-YEAR CONTRACT

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has officially completed a permanent move to Turkish giants Galatasaray in a deal worth €75 million, setting a new transfer record in Turkish football history.
The club confirmed the signing of the 26-year-old from Serie A side Napoli in an announcement on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday. Osimhen, who previously spent a successful loan spell at Galatasaray, has now committed to a four-year contract that will see him earn €15 million annually.
As part of the lucrative agreement, the forward will also receive an additional €1 million loyalty bonus and €5 million for image rights. Napoli, on their part, will receive €40 million of the fee upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be paid over the next year. The Italian club is also entitled to 10 percent of any future profit from Osimhen’s next transfer.
Interestingly, the contract includes a clause preventing Osimhen from joining any Serie A club for the next two years, marking a full and final departure from Italian football.
Osimhen will be aiming to build on his stellar form from last season’s loan stint with Galatasaray, where he netted 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances, helping the club secure both the league title and domestic cup.
