ONDO ASSEMBLY SETS SCREENING DATES FOR 12 COMMISSIONER NOMINEES

The Ondo State House of Assembly has formally received a letter from Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, nominating 12 individuals for appointment as Commissioners in the state executive council.
The letter, which was read during plenary by the Clerk of the House, Barr. Jaiyeola Benjamin, was immediately committed to the Committee of the Whole House for screening, following a motion moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. (Chief) Oshati Olatunji.
Assuring the people of Ondo State of a transparent and diligent process, the House promised to conduct a thorough vetting of each nominee in line with constitutional responsibilities.
The screening exercise is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 and will continue through Monday, June 23rd, 2025. The screening timetable is as follows:

All nominees are advised to appear before the House with at least 40 copies of their updated Curriculum Vitae and valid academic and professional certificates for proper documentation and evaluation.
The screening sessions will hold at the Assembly Complex, by 9:00am daily.
